The Good Sam Prayer Vigil begins on Maundy Thursday, April 6 at 9:00 pm, continues through the night and concludes on Good Friday, April 7 at 8:00 am. Those who have signed-up take turns spending an hour in quiet meditation and prayer, keeping vigil with our Lord. The inspiration for the vigil is from the Gospels of Mark and Matthew, when, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus asks the sleeping disciples, “Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray…”. If you are interested in being a part of this Good Sam tradition to Hold Vigil in Prayer & Meditation for one hour, please sign up on the sheet in Henslee Hall. If you have questions, contact coordinator Bill Wilson at wpw3@outlook.com or Jennifer Dunn at jennifer@goodsamknox.org .
