Justice Knox is a coalition of Knox area churches, including Good Samaritan, working for social justice. The big meeting is the Nehemiah Action Assembly on April 13th, 7:00-8:30 pm, at the Civic Auditorium to meet with local leaders. Seating opens at 6:00 pm, and pre-meeting instructions begin at 6:40 pm. The goal of this assembly is to get public officials to commit to concrete actions to solve some of the worst problems plaguing Knox County. This is where we need participants to show that Knoxville is interested in justice! We are hoping for 1500 people to pack the auditorium as we address public transportation, homelessness, and housing instability with local officials. Please contact Father Mark at mark@goodsamknox.org if you have questions.
